01. Gear Up & Complete a Pre-Ride Check
Before every ride, wear an approved helmet, gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, long pants, and protective riding shoes. Check the battery level, brakes, tires, throttle, suspension, and frame to ensure everything is working properly.
02. Start in the Lowest Speed Mode
Turn the key on, power up the LCD display, and begin in the 16 MPH speed setting. Rotate the throttle gradually and practice starting, turning, and stopping in a clear, controlled riding area before moving to a higher speed mode.
03. Brake Smoothly & Stay in Control
Apply the front and rear hydraulic brake levers progressively to reduce speed or come to a controlled stop. Build braking confidence at lower speeds before advancing to the 28 MPH or 40 MPH settings.
